Re-Acquisition of the Southwest Railroad

BNSF Crew Management is advertising for positions in Carlsbad, NM to coincide with the re-acquisition of the line which had been leased to Southwest Railroad. The bids will be open system wide and will include relocation benefits as outlined in the attached letter. Successful bidders will be required to remain at Carlsbad, seniority permitting, for a period of 3 years. Engineers who do not possess seniority on the roster at Clovis/Carlsbad (201) will be transferred to that roster in accordance with the existing transfer agreement.

It is anticipated that there will be a need for nine (9) engineers upon start-up. Bulletins can be accessed using station abbreviation CARLNM. Please share this information. If you know any furloughed engineers, please let them know about this opportunity.
